Health North, With You In Mind!

At HealthNorth, Inc., we want to make your day-to-day experiences “a walk in the park,” we carry a variety of medical equipment and supplies.

Whether you are heading out for dinner with family or spending a night in at home, let us help you. HealthNorth’s purpose is to enable our clients to remain independent and in their homes through the combination of medical services, equipment, and supplies. Our Mission is to assist our clients in maintaining a dignified presence within their community.

Currently in the United States, there are around 3.3 million wheelchair users. In addition, around 10 million people use walking aids, such as a cane or walker.

Recently, HealthNorth has been involved with the creation of a film that aims to raise millions for spinal cord injury research. The result, is a film about Gabe Rodreick, a 20-year-old who was paralyzed in a diving accident four years ago and has since been affected by a spinal cord injury. The film features Chris Kluwe, the Minnesota Vikings punter, as he spends a day in a wheelchair to help raise awareness about the obstacles that those in wheelchairs deal with on a day-to-day basis.

The film priemers on Thursday, January 24 following Senator Jeff Hayden proposal to the legistlature to spend $4 million a year to promote spinal cord research.

Spinal cord injuries are one of the many reasons why providing medical equipment and supplies are important to us at HealthNorth. This is exactly why it is represented on a petal in our logo, with you in mind.
